You know from experience that wet wood is tough stuff. The Skilsaw 15-Amp Corded Worm Drive Circular Saw cuts to the core of lumber to make a tough job simpler on you and your power tool. Note: this saw includes a 24-tooth Diablo blade. When you’re on the hunt for the perfect circular saw, you want a few things: power, lightness, clean cuts, and comfort. When you’re handling a worm drive saw all day, you’re looking for maximum wrist relaxation before anything else. Look no further – this power saw is light on your wrists and tough on wood. Although any kind of renovation is a major job, your mini circular saw shouldn’t weigh you down. Terrific for major woodworking and framing projects, this circle saw is feathery-light but tackles heavy-duty jobs. Constructed with magnesium, weighing at only 11 pounds, this circular saw is a lean mean cutting machine. Haul this circle saw through your job site. Marvel at how this bad boy loosens the load from your work and your hands. Another factor of saw comfort is, of course, the grip. This handheld diablo blade saw’s contoured ergonomic handle eliminates wrist discomfort, so you’ll saw for longer stints– which is exactly what you want. With a rafter hook for easy access, this corded saw is always literally an arm’s length away. This saw’s powerful 15-amp motor with 5,300 RPMs puts those other worm drive saws to shame. The dual field motor's copper coil is specifically designed to make the most out of that torque. The diablo blade slices through wood, while the carbine materials last the long - and in this case - light haul.

It’s a great saw.

I had my last worm drive skill saw for 37 years. I’m a builder so I use it almost every day. I couldn’t count how many structures I have built using it. It’s a great saw.

Good Feel

This is the first worm drive saw I've owned, or even used, which is surprising. But I like the feel and security in the hands. It doesn't twist when you pull the trigger. Not that direct drive saw twisting is a significant issue, but it is a littl…

Lightweight powerhouse

OK, I've been using 77's for something like 40 years and this is my first magnesium one. Wow, what a difference a couple of pounds make! It looks like Skilsaw is setting itself up as number one again in pro tools.

Young Saw, Old Age!

My saw has already proved all I expected it to be. I need light weight because I am not young any more (77 years). And I need power because I need to get the cut made quickly for less physical requirements on my part. And, I came with a wonderful …
